About the breed
Since the Middle Ages the name “Pura Raza Espanola” or “Caballo Espanol” has been commonly used, which means “horses of pure Spanish race” or “Spanish horse”. In the year 1912 the main studbook was founded. Since then, the name Pura Raza Espanola or P.R.E. has been considered the only permissible name. In the meantime the breeding aim of the Iberian horse has been adapted to today’s requirements. PRE’s reach warmblood-like stick sizes and move on the national as well as international sector of dressage horses. The rideability of these horses paired with their willingness to perform and nerves strong as steel let the formerly only show-oriented horses shine in the arena today.
About us
We founded the stud farm in 2011 and since then we have continuously expanded it. We mastered the biggest challenge so far in 2016 when we moved to Aldingen in the region of Tuttlingen. After a long search we finally found “our farm”. The appropriate basic equipment was available and with a lot of work and attention to detail, boxes, open stables, riding arena, round-pen and farm bar were built and designed.
However, our fullest attention was always paid to our breeding and sales horses, where we pay special attention to the breed typical perfection: physically strong, beautiful and high-performant with a balanced mind.
Since the beginning of the breeding business and the selling of PRE horses, we also attach great importance to trusted breeding and trade partners in Spain. This enables us to always find the right horse for our customers. You can read more about our dream horse consulting here.
